CLIENT | Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center
WHO | NFUGRR is a museum that reveals stories of Underground Railroad freedom seekers and abolitionists in Niagara Falls in order to inspire visitors to take action toward an equitable society.
GOAL | Rebrand NFGURR’s website and print materials to create a more family-friendly, dynamic, bold and memorable visual identity.
CONCEPT | As the creative director of this rebrand, I leaned heavily into the visual imagery of several resistance movements from the Civil Rights movement to Harriet Tubman’s underground network to the present day Black Lives Matter movement. I unified imagery by distilling all color to black and white and allowing the primary colors of blue and red to shine through in the graphic treatment.
WHAT I DID | Creative Direction | Graphic Design | Brand Guideline | Digital Art Direction
